Transformations

Mat’s transformation

Mat’s Transformation – from ultramarathons and a painful hip injury to training 6 times a week and avoiding surgery, all on his own terms.

This story is one of those that really shows the power of strength training. It hits me deep every time.

I’m not even sure how old Mat was when I first met him, but I knew right away—he had that something in his head that kept him going longer and harder than most. No surprise, coming from someone who’s done ultramarathons and multiple marathons. He’s built different.

What helped Mat the most, in my opinion, was how well he listened and took in information. He stayed dedicated, followed what his physio told him, and passed everything on to me. That kept the communication clear and consistent—and that’s what made progress possible.

Fast forward a few months: no surgery needed, pain under control, and Mat’s in great shape, working hard to feel like he’s 20 again.

Giovanni’s transformation

“Don’t tell me how to leave, just help me lose some weight.”

When Gio first came in for a consultation, he weighed around 110kg. Working as a bartender, his love for cocktails and high-quality food wasn’t just a passion—it was part of the job. That made things even more challenging.

The journey hasn’t been easy. There were plenty of battles along the way, but each one helped shape the man he is today—someone who now can’t imagine life without training.

So what changed for him? Honestly, not much—except one major thing: he reconnected with who he truly is. He discovered a deep need for movement and exercise, which led to weight loss, greater confidence, and a whole new perspective.

Now, fitness is his anchor. It’s the place he turns to when life in busy London gets overwhelming—a personal escape and a powerful part of his identity.

Jen’s transformation

From knee pain to losing 21 kg and avoiding knee surgery This is the amazing story of Jennifer, and I had the great honour of being part of it! When I first met Jennifer, we started training consistently—and kept it going for nearly a year(she is still going for many more years! ) . Right from the beginning, her movement started improving, and the way she approached training changed instantly. Her strength grew, her confidence grew, and so did the weights she lifted. Despite a super busy schedule balancing work and family life, not once did she cancel a session. That kind of mindset really impressed me—but I knew it’s the same mindset she’s used to build a successful career and strong family. This time, she used it to build her own body. After 12 months of hard work, she lost 21 kg and completely healed her knee—no surgery needed.
And just to blow your mind a little more: she’s actually a chocolate expert, working with top brands to develop and improve recipes. Yes, that means she has to taste a lot of products as part of her job, and yet she still finds a way to show up and be her best self every single day.
So no—we don’t all have the same 24 hours. Let’s give credit where it’s due.

Jeremi and his transformation.

A young dad and a brave man—his ability to handle pressure has been a key factor from day one. Not once did he complain about his demanding schedule at work or at home. He accepted it, and used the gym as his outlet.

That outlet became his tool to rebuild himself.

In his own words: “I’d never stop—I feel 10 years younger.”

Looks like we’ve achieved what really matters: a true mindset shift. And as the saying goes—strong mind, strong body.
